Take the TOA #HollywoodSelftape Challenge!

TOA is excited to present our first-ever #HollywoodSelftape Monologue Challenge.

As the longest-running acting school in Hollywood, Theatre of Arts is always on the lookout for incredible new talent from all over the world. Do you have what it takes to become a Hollywood star? Post your selftape monologue on social media today for a chance to audition and get discovered by pro casting directors and agents, including 20-year Hollywood veteran Zora DeHorter! Joining in the fun is easy:

How To Participate:

  1. Record your one-minute monologue (Pick from the ones linked below, or choose or write your own—it's totally up to you!)

  2. Upload it to the site/app of your choice: Instagram, TikTok or Twitter (We'll be keeping an eye on all three.)

  3. Be sure to use the hashtag #HollywoodSelftape

  4. The deadline for posting your selftape is JULY 17, 2020. Have fun—we can't wait to see your monologues!

UPDATE #1: DEADLINE EXTENDED! Having paused all promotion of this challenge out of respect for recent events connected to #BLM and COVID-19, TOA is extending the deadline for selftape submissions until JULY 17th!

UPDATE #2: THAT'S A WRAP! Thanks to everyone who participated in our first-ever Monologue Challenge! As promised, #HollywoodSelfTape posts from social media were reviewed and critiqued by pro Casting Director Zora DeHorter in a special online viewing event you can watch here:
