"Until He Wasn't" Live On Stage!

LOS ANGELES, CA, September 1, 2023 — Theatre of Arts, Hollywood's longest-running acting conservatory, today announced that its next live theatrical production will be Until He Wasn't, the compelling play by Patrick McLaughlin.

Until He Wasn't revolves around the character of Colin Bayley, who serves as the common bond between four complete strangers. For Natalie, he was a breath of fresh air that brought her back to life. For Tenille, he was the co-star in her own personal rom-com. For Gavin, he was an unexpected surprise. For Raya, he was everything. As the four strangers meet to share their personal histories with the same man, they can only truly agree on one thing: Colin Bayley was the ultimate charmer … until he wasn’t.

Director Claire Jacobs comments, Until He Wasn't features a deeply compelling cast of characters, and I'm delighted to be directing some of our strongest conservatory talents as they tackle this dark tale of intersecting relationships."

David Conolly, Executive Director of Theatre of Arts adds, “We are excited to be staging Until He Wasn't. Under Claire Jacobs' inspiring direction, our conservatory actors are engaging vigorously with this dynamic subject matter, and we are eager to welcome audiences to experience their energy and passion live on stage this September.”
