Zora DeHorter, Veteran Casting Director, Joins Theatre of Arts Faculty



HOLLYWOOD, CA, Wednesday July 14, 2021 – Theatre of Arts, the longest-running acting school in Los Angeles, today announced that veteran casting director Zora DeHorter, CSA will join its esteemed faculty for the fall term beginning August 31, 2021, teaching Industry Prep tall TOA conservatory students.

David Law, Director of Education for Theatre of Arts comments, "We are ecstatic to be welcoming Zora into the TOA family. Her incredible track record and wealth of experience will be an invaluable asset to our students as they prepare to navigate the complex terrain of the entertainment industry."


Born in Nigeria and raised in Britain, Ms. DeHorter's twenty years as a Hollywood Casting Director have made her an expert in knowing what it takes to land acting roles. In addition, Zora is a seasoned acting coach specializing in audition prep, applying her unique perspective as a casting director to help improve actors' chances of landing their dream roles. "I have so enjoyed collaborating with Theatre of Arts on projects in the past, and am now delighted to be coming aboard as a member of its faculty, which has included such legends as Michael Chekov and Max Reinhardt. I look forward to working with and helping shape the dynamic and diverse talent for which Theatre of Arts is famous!"
