Summer Film Intensive
Throughout this two-week film intensive, students will have the opportunity to learn the process of film making from the ground up, and the role the actor plays in that process. Our faculty will guide you through techniques of acting for the camera, pre-production, audition process and technique. Students will deepen their understanding of themselves as artists through the viewing of video playback of their work. Each student will go through a casting process placing him or her in a short film, which will be fully produced throughout the intensive program. In addition to the films in which the actors are featured, they will also help crew the other films. Students will leave this fast-paced workshop with a complete production on a short film for festival distribution.
